Norway, CFC, Sufh and SHOW!

Now it's one month since we left Kenya and went back home!
It was strange to be back. Norwegian food, people, cultur and wheather, but we had a great Christmas time together with family and friends.

On the 7th of Januray we met the Nowegian- and the international participants again. It was nice to see everyone! Now we are based at Sunnmøre folkehøgskole (sufh) in Ulsteinvik, in the western part of Norway. All the 28 CFC participants from 7 different countries are staying here, together with other students at the school as well.

We have allready done allot. We have travelled to Ålesund, seen the Annie musical made by Sufh students and visited Ulsteinvik. This last week the YWCA-YMCA people have been working hard making a great show about Economic justice. Saturday the 29th of January we are starting our information tour, and we will begin by having our show at OAK's (Oslo- og Akershuskrets) nattvolleyball cup. We are looking forward to the trip and to meet YWCA-YMCA people around Norway!

Some pictures from the show preparations

Practising the commondance. "Be a crab" :P

=)

We miss Kenya allot and are looking forward to tell people about our experiences and what we have learned.

Sunnmøre folkehøgskole! This is the school where we are living!

Over og ut for denne gang!

  1. Wow! Great stuff, I'm so happy that you'll tell people about your experience in our country, It's great and I'm sure more people need to know that. I'm now having "fun" back in college (Nairobi University) and I'm hoping to do my best! Say hello to HARVARD, ANGELA,...:) and all the friends who were in Kenya. It's very Hot here right now ...but we can't complain. Good luck.
